Districts of Chhattisgarh and year of establishment

At the time of the formation of Chhattisgarh state, there were only 16, but later 2 new districts were announced which were Narayanpur and Bijapur. 

But after this, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Dr. Raman Singh, announced 9 more on 15 August 2011, which came into existence on 1 January 2012, thus now there are 27.
