The construction of this temple in the year 1982 by Mahant Shri Ganpatparimaray.

Lord Jagannath was seated in the year 2006 through Pran-Pratishtha.

It is said that when the people of Utkal Samaj who came here from Odisha were not able to visit Lord Jagannath Puri again and again.

Then they together built a temple with the same shape as that of Puri Jagannath.

Which became famous as Chirmiri Jagannath or Pondi Jagannath Temple.

Which are located in the plateau part of the village.

To reach here you have to climb about 50 steps.

The idols of Bhairav Baba and Mahavir Hanuman ji are decorated in their first entrance.

Along with this, a waiting room has also for the visitors arriving for Navratri, Mahashivratri, or any festival here.

The temple is open from 5:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm on normal days.

Every year a fair is at Pondi Jagannath Temple during Mahashivandapa (Mahashivratri) and Gundicha Yatra (Rathayatra).
