There are many sanctuaries in the state of Chhattisgarh, Semarsot Wildlife Sanctuary is one of them, it comes under the Balrampur district in the northern part of Chhattisgarh.
A river Semarsot flows through most of the part of the Semarsot, hence the name of this sanctuary Semarsot.

As per the 1997 census of animals, there were 1 Tiger and 19 Lepards in the sanctuary. The other animals found are Gour, Chital, Sambar, Sloth bear, Nilgai, Chinkara, Wild boar, Fox, Jungle cat, Wild dogs, etc. A variety of reptiles and birds are also seen.
If we talk about wild animals, then here mainly Sambhar, Chital, Nilgai, Kotri wild dog, Wild boar, Warkigdeer, Chowsinha, Chinkra, Bear, Peacock, Monkey, Wolves, etc. animals here.

This waterfall is located in the Chanan river flowing in the sanctuary, the height of this waterfall is about 100 meters. It is about 16 km away from Balrampur city. You can easily reach through your vehicles.

Here naturally hot water is coming out from the earth, it fills people with wonder, so it is famous all over the state and many people come to see it. The water here is so hot that people cook potatoes, rice, and eggs in the hot water here.
